Spectrum Golf Acquires GolfSwitch From E2E Golf Solutions
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 5, 2001
Spectrum Golf, a Scottsdale-based golf travel and event planning company, Monday announced that it has acquired the assets of GolfSwitch from E2E Golf Solutions.
GolfSwitch is a communications company whose software and hardware enables golf courses to open their tee sheets to marketing partners (i.e. airlines, golf vacation companies, hotels, Internet sites, etc.) regardless of the tee time software being used by the golf course. The GolfSwitch Network is an open system and currently supports interfaces to over 13 tee sheet software systems.
“Spectrum Golf has seen great value in GolfSwitch and what it can offer golf courses and golf marketers since the company’s inception nearly two years ago,” said Spectrum Golf President Michael Loustalot. “GolfSwitch will continue to operate as its own entity and will continue to serve the needs of golf courses and golf marketers around the world.”
Robert Chiti will continue to head the GolfSwitch division of Spectrum Golf as its general manager. Chiti has been GolfSwitch’s chief operating officer since April 2000 and is a 16-year veteran of the computer software industry.
“We are very happy to be part of the Spectrum Golf family and feel the GolfSwitch Network can now truly be tee sheet neutral,” said Chiti.
GolfSwitch has relocated its headquarters to 6390 East Thomas Road in Scottsdale, adjacent to Spectrum Golf’s offices. GolfSwitch can be reached at their new phone number 480/429-7280, fax number 480/425-1253 or their web page at www.golfswitch.com.
Owned and operated by PGA professionals, Spectrum Golf’s principals have more than 35 years of combined experience in the golf and travel industries.
The company has offices in Palm Springs, Las Vegas and Scottsdale and specializes in creating customized, once-in-a-lifetime golf vacations and events to world-class golf destinations, including: Phoenix/Scottsdale, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, San Diego, Reno/Lake Tahoe and Los Cabos, Mexico.
