Enjoying A Stroll On The Golf Course
Many people associate playing golf as being as
one with nature. To be able to get up early in
the morning before everyone else sets off for a
hard days work and quietly drive down to the local
golf course and start your game of golf.
Every golf course differs in many ways. The have
all been designed differently, some with lots of
trees, water features and sand traps or bunkers
and all are equlally difficult to play. Getting
used to one golf course won’t do you any favours
if you want to enter any competitions or indeed
play a round or two when you are on a golfing vacation.
So practise is vital. Learning to play different shots
at diffent times is one major key to improving
your game. Of course, the most important thing to
practise is your golf swing. The ability to drive
the ball as far as you possibly can down the
golf course is your primary goal and is the one
shot you should really practise the most.
Most golf resorts or golf clubs nowadays are a lot
more than just a place to play golf. Most now include
health or gym facilities, swimming pools and bars.
They are often more a place to socialize with new
people than they are about just playing a game of golf.
Most importantly, golf is a game that you should
enjoy to play as often as you can. Even if you have
no-one to play with, the quiet strolls down the
golf course can be a very calm experience. Not to
mention the exercise always comes in handy too!
Sometimes you don’t realise just how far you are walking
when you play a round of golf.
