Bag Boy Golf Carts: Six Decades Of Providing Top-Of-The-Line Golf Equipment
The Bag Boy Company is a household name in the world of golf because of its unquestionable status of selling top-of-the-line, heavy-duty golf equipment such as carts, bags, cases, and training aids. Bag Boy equipment is readily available for purchase on selected Internet websites and brick-and-mortar shops all across the globe.
The Bag Boy golf cart bags are available in two types: the Push type and the Pull type. They are offered in a wide array of colors, depending on your style and taste as a trendsetting golfer. A lot of the Push-style bags have removable third wheels. On other kinds of bags, all the three wheels can be removed.
Pull carts, on the other hand, do not have as many designs as the Push carts. However, they are not lagging behind when it comes to important, usable features.
The Bag Boy golf carts’ average weight is between 14-15 lbs. All of the carts designed by the company have quick-release features so that owners can conveniently fold their carts. Other carts have the one-handed operation feature which allows them to be levelly folded to make storage and transportation more manageable.
Features such as scorecard and beverage holders, useful storage partitions, and refined useful handles can be found on most Bag Boy golf cart bags.
Bag Boy Golf carts also include a versatile removable seat that you can use while waiting for your turn on the course. It has a spring loaded feature for easy use and a very relaxing but compact cushioned seat.
Bruce Williamson, a native of Oregon, is the pioneer in the manufacture of Bag Boy golf carts. His first design was created in 1945. He connected wheels from the lawnmower to a foldable chassis. One year later, he penned an agreement with E. Roy Jarman called the Jarman-Wilson Partnership.
Together, they designed golf carts made of aluminum tubes. However, in 1957, Jarman became the sole owner of the company under the same name. He also created golf bags for some ten years. After twelve years and becoming famous all around the world, the Bag Boy was sold to the Browning Arms Company. The Bag Boy Company would later on be sold twice and only after this has it become a business in its own right.
